Plastics and Robotics

ARBURG is without doubt the leading global manufacturer of Injection Moulding Machines, not just for plastics but also for multi-component, LSR, powder and many other diverse special applications.

Having been in the industry for over 50 years, ARBURG has pioneered numerous advances in injection moulding technology, holding more than 3000 patents and registered designs. In the process it has developed a reputation for innovation, performance, quality and durability. As a result of its ongoing success, ARBURG has evolved into a global operating company with wholly owned subsidiaries and offices in 70 countries worldwide.
ARBURG offer almost 200 ‘standard’ machines ranging from 12.5 to 500 tonnes with tie bar spacings from 170 to 920mm. And such is the scope of product options, that what others refer to as ‘specials’, ARBURG typically offers as ‘standard’.

ARBURG ALLROUNDER Injection Moulding Machines are available with three optional
drive systems:

Fully Hydraulic – the ALLROUNDER UNIVERSAL.
This is ARBURG’s iconic and best known range of machines
Fully Electric – the ALLROUNDER ALLDRIVE.
One of ARBURG’s highest growth machines, the ALLDRIVE has electrically driven main axes for ‘opening and closing the mould’, ‘injection’ and ‘dosing’
Hybrid – the ALLROUNDER ADVANCE.
A combination unit utilising hydraulic and electric drives for maximum flexibility

Any ALLROUNDER can be customised to suit individual requirements, a process made simple by the ALLROUNDER’s modularity and flexibility which enables complete freedom to combine or swap different modules and peripherals, even with different drive systems.
ARBURG also recognises that certain machine configurations are more suited to specific applications, and as a result offer Injection Moulding Machines in a range of seven standard working positions eg horizontal clamping and injection units, vertical clamping and injection units, horizontal clamping unit and vertical injection unit etc.

Every ARBURG machine incorporates the proven SELOGICA control system which provides the ultimate in user-friendly and highly efficient process management system, with programming using icons and the entire process being represented by a clear and intuitive flowchart.

Training in the use of ARBURG machines can be undertaken at ARBURG’s purpose-built facilities in Germany or Singapore. Alternatively training can be conducted by Aotea’s factory trained technicians at customer premises.

As with all CNC machine tools sold by Aotea, comprehensive after-sales technical support is available and an extensive range of ARBURG spares, consumables and peripherals are held in stock.
