The World’s Fastest
Bending Machine
If Press Brakes were Burt Monroe’s fascination and not land-speed records, the TRUMPF TruBend Series 7000 would have suited our famous Kiwi inventor right down to the ground. Using electric drives and super light, yet strong construction, TRUMPF have reached a new pinnacle in design – The world’s fastest bending machine!
However, a press brake is only as fast as its operator, and vice versa. So to be able to bend productively you not only need a dynamic machine, the operator has to have optimum working conditions. As you would expect, TRUMPF meets both these requirements with the TruBend Series 7000.
More speed due to less weight.
The length of time a press brake needs for bending depends on the speed of the beam and how quickly the back gauge reaches its position. The less weight that needs to be moved around the better. That’s why TRUMPF have built the back gauge of the TruBend Series 7000 from light, stable carbon fibres. The surfaces where the bent part touches the back gauge fingers are made from hardened steel, setting new standards in dynamics, yielding accurate results at the same time. The electrical torque motor which drives the beam can deliver power even at low speed, ensuring dynamic axis movements with energy efficiency.
Ergonomics for more efficiency.
When a press brake operator gets tired, the quantity and quality of the fabricated parts suffer. That’s why TRUMPF have made every effort to make the machine not only a pleasure to operate but also with as little operator fatigue as possible. The key is well-thought-out ergonomics.
The TruBend Series 7000 workplace can be adjusted in much the same way as the driver’s in a high-quality car. The seat adjustments make it possible for the operator to work in the most comfortable and productive environment. What’s more, the screen of the TASC 6000 control system can be tilted to the right angle, whether the operator is sitting or standing – the modern touch screen layout puts everything at the operator’s fingertips. The TruBend Series 7000 is a high-end solution for the production of small bent parts. The machine is ideal for the production of automation and electrical equipment as well as mechanical engineering.
